You're right Jersy. Imagine that, Jersy is right! I can't wear the shirt ... because ... well ... they ran out of them! Oh well, I got too many anyway.

But I can, in fact, count the mileage: 26.2 in 3:23:33. Looks like I beat Apolo Anton Ohno by a couple of minutes. Not bad for a training run at modest effort during the most amazing 26.2 mile block party in the world. I'll take it.

Good week despite having to take a day off due to a long travel day.

Mon: 8.5 easy on hilly loop

Tue: 10 w/ 6 @ 6:28 pace (avg)

Wed: 10.5 easy/moderate on hilly loop

Thur: off (argh)

Fri: 10 easy/moderate

Sat: 20 easy

Sun: 6 easy

Week: 65 (must...run...more...this...week)

This is a step-back week after a pretty aggressive week last week left me feeling like doo-doo.

Tue: Rest
Wed: Rest
Thu: Felt like garbage. Took extra rest day.
Fri: 4.3 miles easy
Sat: Rest
Sun: 8.3 miles easy
Mon: 13.1 miles on the trail, with about 5 feet airborne and a foot skidding on the ground. It would have been pretty funny if I hadn't tweaked my foot/ankle in the process…

Total: 25.7

Next week WAS going to be the big week before Tecumseh. With my injury, though, I'm going to have to play it by ear. Er, foot.
