M - 10@ 6:49 in the am, 3 in the pm w/ the dog
T - 6 @ 7:30
W - 8 @ 6:10
Th - 12 @ 7:30
F - 12 @ 7:48
Sa - Half Marathon Race. 1:17:02 finish (5th OA & 1st in AG)
Su - 5 Recovery miles

Total Weekly Miles = 66.1
YTD Miles = 3,866.2

A quick "taper" then it's off to NYC for my goal race.

Well, my taper for NYC doen't near approach that of Don, but then again, neither does my normal weekly mileage. I had a tough week last week with computer issues which completely took my mind off running - yeah. I can say though that I have "recovered" from the glute/hammie thing that plagued me in Grand Rapids. I think I'm back on the edge of the abyss, but no longer in the crevice.

Monday - Easy 5 miles with striders

Tuesday - 6 x 800 at 3:35-3:40 pace. 6 total miles (A bit slower repeats than in the past as I was testing the leg)

Wednesday - Day off

Thursday - Easy 6 miles

Friday - Easy 6 miles

Saturday - 11 hilly miles with Half Training Group. Worked Packet Pick up for Atlanta Marathon

Sunday - Day off. Worked mile 21 of the Atlanta Marathon

Total: 34 miles
