Tough week..........

Monday - 7 miles Last run in Destin, back to reality
Tuesday - 6 miles done as 2x 1 mile @ 6:50 pace, 2 x 800 @ 3:20 with 400m rest. W/u & c/d
Wednesday - Skipped run as I was feeling good, battling a cold
Thursday - 5.5 easy miles, felt better loaded on zicam and green tea with vitamin C
Friday - 12.16 miles @ 8:45 pace. Felt better than in several days
Saturday - 7 miles
Sunday - 3.55 recovery miles

Total for the week: 41.21 Starting off the year!

First week of Illinois Marathon Training

Monday - 4 easy miles w/1000m swim 30min
Tuesday - 8 @ GA 7:51 w/8x100 strides + Strength Training
Wednesday - 8 @ 8:20 great run low hR
Thursday - 5 @ recovery 9:08
Friday - 7 miles 40 min at tempo + 1050m swim 32 min
Saturday - 5 miles recovery
Sunday - 14 @ LSD 8:20 trails

M - 1hr bike
T - 5hr45min hike up a mountain
W - unscheduled rest, quads were shot; 45min walk with dog
Th - 20min elliptical + gym, then 1hr10min bike
F - 1hr bike w/ 5x 10sec sprints at the end
S - 20min elliptical + 13min run + gym
S - 2hr10min bike with 20mph wind/35mph gusts

Week - ~12hr including the hike but not the walk

Knee feeling great, body is remembering how to exercise.

Monday - 5 miles @ Wildlife Refuge
Tuesday - 4.2 miles @ Wildlife Refuge
Wednesday - 4 miles of TM
Thursday - 6 miles on TM
Friday - 18 miles @ Wildlife Refuge
Saturday - 7.65 miles hiking - need to do a lot of this for my ultras this year - checking out the route at Eagle Creek Park in Indy for my January 28 night trail marathon. Terrible marked/unmarked trails - will be a fun route - tricky at times and lots of runnable sections.

Total for the week: 44 + miles

Week 2 of 16 for Boston marathon. Had to do more treadmill running due to one of the cars being in the shop all week.

Mon - 10 miles easy with lots of inclines
Tue - 6 miles easy
Wed - 6.25 miles easy with short hill sprints
Thu - 8.5 miles with 5 miles at steady state
Fri - rest
Sat - 16 miles long run, hilly route
Sun - 6.7 miles easy, hilly route

Week - 53.5 miles
YTD - 60 miles

Tu-3X1600 treadmill 6:35 pace 6mi total
W-off
Th-6.11mi MP run 7:05 pace- too fast
F-5.07mi recovery pace w/dog then strength workout
Sa-8mi @ 8:00pace
Su- 8mi @7:30 pace

36mi week 46 YTD

Tue - 9 with 10x100

Wed - off (first off day in last 15)

Thu - 11 @ 7:51

Fri - 5 recovery

Sat - 11 @ 7:47

Sun - 14 @ 8:07

Total for week = 55

3 days of travel this week. 1 week to Houston half.

Mon: X2 Yoga + X2 ab ripper + 6 miles
Tue: Core Synergistics
Wed: 8 miles TM
Thu: 5 miles TM alternating .25 and .5 mile repeats + X2 Yoga + Ab Ripper
Fri: Core Synergistics
Sat: 10 miles
Sun: 10 mile trail run

39 miles for the week.

Mon 33 Miles (attempted to run my age since it was my "berfday", 38, but had to DNF at 33 miles due to wind and ice).
Tue 12 Miles easy
Wed 10.5 Miles tempo
Thur 13 Miles easy
Fri 11 Miles Hill Repeats
Sat 13.1 practice for 1:30 half marathon pacing gig later in the month
Sun 17 miles easy

Total Miles = 109.6
YTD Miles = 134.4

Monday - 11.7 miles (Progressive Easy - 7:06/mile)
Tuesday - 7.8 miles (4x600 @ 2:07 = 5:41/mile)
Wednesday - 12.1 miles (Easy - 7:37)
Thursday - Rest, no time, work and flying to see Donald, Mickey, and Goofy
Friday - 4.5 miles (Easy - 7:57/mile) Looking for the Disney Marathon Course
Saturday - 13.1 miles Disney 1/2 Marathon (Run as progressive tempo run, last 5K in 18:40) 1:26:45
Sunday - 26.2 miles Disney Marathon (Easy 7:39/mile) 3:20:25

Week: 76 miles
YTD: 88 miles
