Wed 11 easy63°F
Thu -- .... under the weather (cold/flu) --> unscheduled day off.
Fri -- .... under the weather (cold/flu) --> scheduled day off.
Sat 03 easy61°F Easy circular laps near the Prime Minister's Office - Primature.
Sun 18 long62°F Total Kigali - Kiyovu to Remera to Kacyiru and back.

In between cycles still. Recovery/maintenance right now.


Tue 6.07 (9:05, recovery)
Wed 6 - (8:12, 3 x1 mile 6:58 pace)
Thu 6.1 (9:09 recovery)
Sat 6.89 (7:46 avg.) w/35 min progressive tempo (hal style) on feel peaked at 6:25) Tough workout
Sun 10.24 (LSD based on feel 8:42 HR 145 very low)

WTD 35+ YTD 1,255ish

Overall solid week of running enjoying running on feel vs. being a slave to the watch. Some runs are slower than typical others are much faster like Sat. Tempo run.

First week of doing this with the Saturday-to-Friday schedule, so there's a little repeat of last week.

S - 49min progression AM, 1hr3min recovery bike PM
S - 1hr55min LSD
M - 46min recovery
T - 45min easy AM, 1hr52min GA bike PM
W - 1hr2min easy w/ 6x strides AM, 1hr easy bike PM
Th - 45min easy AM, lots of walking in SF PM
F - off, brother graduated and took off to Minnesota for a year Sad

Week - 6hr2min/43.7mi run, 3hr55min bike, 9hr58min total

Lots of schedule conflicts this week, so I crammed in whatever I could, whenever I could.

Mon: Rest day (recovering from trip to urgent care that resulted in me getting stitches in my hand)
Tue: 2.3 miles walking at lunch
Wed: 3.1 miles barefoot before work, 2.7 miles walking at lunch
Thu: Rest day (Alec had oral surgery, poor kid)
Fri: 2.1 miles barefoot before work, 3.9 miles walking at lunch
Sat: Rest day
Sun: 6.3 miles at low HR for MAF test (shod), 5.4 miles hiking in Luna sandals later.

Week: 25.5 miles total (6.6 miles walking in shoes, 6.3 miles running in shoes, 5.4 miles hiking in Luna sandals, 5.2 miles running barefoot)

Still trying to cram in the the training for Muncie HIM in 3 weeks.

Mon: 6 mile run + 1600yd swim + 8 mile ride
Tue: 15 mile run + 200yd swim + 63 mile ride
Wed: 5 mile run + 2400yd swim
Thu: 58 mile ride + 10 mile run + 1500yd swim
Fri: 10 mile ride + 500yd swim + 8 mile run
Sat: 3 mile run
Sun: 3 mile run + 3 mile run + 59 mile bike

WTD: 53 miles running, 198 cycling, 6200yd swimming

Still in crazy mode. Went to orientation at BU and was shocked as to how there were three days of meetings for parents too!

Mon - 5.2 miles at Chautauqua - warm and humid, but not as bad as it was in Cleveland
Tues - 6.5 mile tempo run. Davis-Weber Loop.
Wed - 3 miles later in the rain and drizzle
Thurs - 3.5 miles on Esplanade in the early morning, 3 miles walking (to/from BU)
Fri - 4.2 miles on Esplanade, 3 miles walking
Sat - Day off, travel back to Buffalo
Sun - 8.0 miles. Decent hilly run at CHQ. Humid and warm.

Total for the week: 36.4 YTD: 984 miles

After this last crazy week of Cleveland/NY travel, I'll be starting my NYC cycle.

Thu...3.1 mi....rolling hills
