Tim, I'm so sorry I haven't been posting my weight. I appreciate you keeping track of it for us.

I have been hovering around 138 all summer. I haven't worked too hard at it I'm afraid. But I started my own challenge today. I weighed myself and took measurements. I am going to track my food this week to try and see where I'm faltering so badly. I have six weeks until a double half marathon and I would like to be a few pounds less by then. It didn't happen for my 30 year class reunion (my fault) and it didn't happen before last week's half marathon, in which I ran my 4th slowest out of about 12-14 half's---I felt chubby next to my friend who recently lost a bunch using weight watchers.

So it's time to crack down!

Peg, no worries as I'm happy to do it. I'm just bummed that we're getting such little response this time around. Maybe everyone just likes Reina more than me. What a Face

Nobody weighed in this week but I'm posting anyway as I have to brag a little. 170 has been a serious wall for me to crack. My wife and I started eating paleo a couple of weeks ago and the lbs have flown off. I'm below 170 for the first time since I was in college (and that was a looooong time ago).

Anyway, I'll continue to do it for now, but you have to post people.....

For what it's worth, I think this is a great thread, and a wonderful opportunity for mutual support.

I'll be happy to keep participating (I'm hovering at 162-163 at the moment), but when I was the only one or two posting, I have to admit I was starting to get a little self conscious. I hope more people make use of this.

Wow Tim. That is great to have broken through that wall! Awesome!

Confession: I weighed myself at 140.0 on Tuesday...but then weighed after my run and it was 137.8. Then I took off my clothes and it was 137. I didn't want to post the 140, but also don't want to post the 137 since it was after a run! I will see what Monday brings! Trying NOT to weigh every day...

I was actually a little under 169 yesterday but I'm leaving for 8 days in DC and New York. I imagine with the cut-back in running and the great food we'll be having, I'll need to work to get back under 170 when I get back.

FWIW, i find this blog to be very motivating so I hope we can keep it going.
