That 10k is coming up buddy! I have to admit I agree with Michele's statement about freaking a little. Although it is not a marathon running a fast hard 10k is some thing in it's self and a big challenge.

To be honest I find the 10k one of the hardest races to run and pace for. It is just a distance that it tough due to almost running at top speed the whole time. It truly is a fine line. It sure is a distance that I would like to race more. You will do just fine buddy just embrace the pain and trust your condition and keep the pedal to the floor!

Just wanted to say hey and I thought of you. I was at Kohls and couldn't find tights for my daughter so I found an employee but she mouthed she was sorry and signed that she was Deaf. So I signed ASL and then tights and she showed me where they were. I was happy to use a little bit of the little ASL I know (and also motivated to keep learning more!).

If a 10K is more intense than a marathon (and it is), I guess it stands to reason that a taper for a 10K is going to be more intense, too!

Keep breathing, Mike! You're going to tear this up. Approval
