Chicago Marathon Dinner

So....the Chicago Marathon is next weekend and of course we need to have our dinner!

Dave proposed La Scarola, and this is the place we went last year. It's super yummy!

Anyway, we will need to make reservations and a time is needed. What time works for everyone? 6:30 or 7?

Please post if you'll be attending and how many in your party.

I'll be there (1), most anytime is OK with me except too late. I hope you are bringing your baby!

Is this for Friday or Saturday?

Britt and I are in. I think as close to 7:00 as possible would be ideal.

I have a reservation there already for later in the evening (I believe at 7:30 or 7:45). My friend Kathy likes to eat late so I compromised on this trip with a later dinner friday since I'm going to be eating my dinner around 4pm on Saturday. I'll stop by the table, for sure, and see everyone. Have to meet the new addition to the 365 runners and haven't met Brittany (spelled right?) or you and Shuey yet.

Bummer, I've got to work Friday night starting at 7p. If you end up making it for earlier in the evening for any reason, I'll swing by to say hello before work.

I'm running Chicago, but as a long run. Planning to do 20-21 miles and then grabbing a cab home. I'll see as many of you after at Sweetwaters (is that where people are still going?)

Ok, so I was able to make reservations at La Scarola for Friday, under Lisa for 6:45. If you have not already done so, please respond if you will be attending and if so, how many are in your party.

Ahhhh!!! My Stephen and Anke are coming to dinner!! I can't wait to see you guys and Kristina can't wait to meet you!

Yessssssss! We cant wait to meet her! We are very excited to see eveyone again. I have done little or no running because of back and eye problems and most recently chest problems. But looking forward to seeing everyone and maybe running the first half before pulling out (or being pulled out by Anke). Hope the weather behaves this year

Just being curious I checked the Marriott properties the other day...the Fairfield Inn on East Ontario had rooms available for $999/night.

Are you driving? I've got to believe there are plenty once you get out of downtown area.

Hey Lisa, is it to late to bump up the reservation by one?

I would be flying in most likely since it is a 6+ hr drive, but I'm also guessing that there will be rooms downtown as well once the dust settles. Doubt I could make it work, but I should think about it for next year.
