I have access to gym at work now and want to take advantage of it to train for Boston. It's a small gym with only 3 TM. So if TM is not available, which is better, stair master or elliptical?

Any other comment is appreciated!

I would think the Stairmaster for hills and you don't "climb" on the Elliptical, but I would just mix it up.

My first time on Elliptical yesterday. I saw I can adjust grade and wonder if that gives me hill training effect.

Really - wow, I have not used one in a long time. I still say to mix it up.

Wear your Boston gear and stare down any "recreational" runners on the treadmill. Suggest they move to the stairmaster or elliptical for a better workout. What gym only has 3 treadmills? Are you sneaking in to the local Days Inn for a workout, be honest Jerry! clown
