Well, the forecast for Tucson is perfect - 35-40F at the start, high of 52F and no weather.  Guess this will be a fun one in spite of my cold.

It will be so nice to see the sun since it never shines in Cleveland in the winter.  I had some great runs in Central Park and so loved the cold with SUN.

50% humidity in Arizona ought to feel downright oppresive to that population.

Jerry, at least you're not running on Tuesday morning...check out the low for Monday night.  Jerry won't be too cold on Sunday.  Jerry will run with a heating pad and a long extension cord.

Someone should tell Jerry that the National Weather Service predicts the temperature to be from 25-29 degrees from Saturday afternoon until Jerry crosses the finish line....if he's not too frozen to run. 

Sleet or freezing rain is a 40% chance from Saturday afternoon through Sunday.

Jerry doesn't chicken out. It's simply not in his blood. However, he always recovers slow. So maybe the right thing to do is to skip Dallas and go right into Boston training.  

If it rains,I am not sure I have the guts to start.

This is where wearing a trash bag (or dry cleaning bag) at the start will be a real benefit.

At the last Houston marathon, I wore the dry cleaning bag for all but the last tenth of a mile of the race. 

It rained at the start for a couple of miles, then the wind was howling out of the north.  My toes were frozen at mile 12, but I kept the bag on to keep me from getting chilled...and it did.  My bib number was easily seen through the clear plastic bag.

Oh, forgot to mention I actually had a weird dream Saturday night. 

I got up early morning for a run. It was dark outside. I opened the door without disarm the security. So I locked the door and disarmed the alarm.

Suddenly, people were knocking on the door hard, shouting: police.

I opened it and was really scared when I saw SWAT team. I asked: what's going on?

They replied: your alarm sounded. Everything ok?

I said: yes, my mistake.

Then I realized: wait a minute. A false alarm. How come you come so quickly? Why SWAT?

They said: take it easy. We just happened to be in the neighborhood.


Then I felt into sleep again. 

I was told in my blog by this board's latest, lazy American that since I'm in my tapering period for Houston on the 19th, I need to resurrect this thread.
