First time breaking 50mi/week since...  A year ago.  Yep.

M - 5.5mi recovery
T - 8mi w/ 3 @ MP
W - 6.2mi easy
Th - 9mi easy
F - off
S - 8mi easy
S - 15mi easy

Week - 51.7mi

I'm really tight and sore today.  Didn't stretch yesterday, so I'm not surprised.  Cutback week upcoming.

Got my BQ that I missed in Erie.  Stupidly ran too fast when I was with Kevin and he was sensible and dropped back at around 10k.  I kept hammering away solo and then I decided to slow down a lot at 22.   Um Yeah, that's what I call those cramps!  "My decision"!   But managed the way in slowly from there to get the BQ and earn the birthday cake I skipped yesterday.  Next time, I stick with Kevin and let him set the pace!   But he and I doing race pacing is like "Dumb & Dumber".  Need a 7:48 paced marathon.....so let's run mile 3 well under 7:00!   Geesh.  But fun.

Woohoo, congrats to all of you!  Especially to Chris for the BQ!  Guess I'll see you there in 2015!

Week 2 of Taper -

Mon - Day off
Tues - 8 miles done as 4 x 7 min hard with 2 min rest, warm up and cool down.  Weights
Wed - 3.3 easy miles  (30 min recovery run)
Thurs - 6 easy miles; Weights
Fri - Day off
Sat - 10 miles with 7 at MP. Seemed way too hard
Sun - Day off

WTD:  27.3 miles

Definitely taper as the miles felt way, way too hard, and I am totally stressing.
