Re: Your Week in Training Nov 4 - 10
congrats on the half marathon, gobbles!!
I was terrible about writing down miles but ran 5-6 miles 6 days of the last 7. Nothing exciting but good to get out.

Re: Your Week in Training Nov 4 - 10
Nice run Steven. Congrats on the 2nd place!!
Mon - 7.8
Tue - 8 in Germany (left leg and knee just killing me - loosened up a bit as the run went on)
Wed - 0
Thu - 8.2 in Germany (leg somewhat better)
Fri - 8.9 after flight back home before driving to Cleveland for youngest one's hockey tournament
Sat - 15.2 in Strongsville, OH > was really tired and sore for this run. Was ready to hang it up for JFK, leg just too much pain.
Sun - 23.9 > ran it at 8:20. Leg and knee manageable, but was really tired at the end. Not surprised just drank 12 oz of juice and had a few pretzels, plus all the travel, oh yeah and some drinking
72.8 for the week. Now to figure out how to taper, get healthy and show up for JFK.

Re: Your Week in Training Nov 4 - 10
I ran 4 miles today. That's all.
And I'm good with that!
Actually, I'm glad I waited until today, because I've still got a few hot spots here and there from last Sunday.

Re: Your Week in Training Nov 4 - 10
I didn't know you were in that area. Thought you were up more Cleveland way. My time was really limited. I only had a window between 9:30am - 12:30pm yesterday. Little guy lost this morning so we drove home around 10am, and I did my long run here. But --- had I realized it, I probably could have found time for an afternoon drink!! Sorry Michele, my bad.Michele \"1L" Keane wrote:So you were in Strongsville and didn't let me know? I could have set you up with a whole group to run with.....@mountandog wrote:Nice run Steven. Re: Your Week in Training Nov 4 - 10
I am closer to Cleveland, but we ran in the Metropark near Berea - so we were about 10 min from Strongsville. I actually run weekly with a women from there. Nothing is too far for us on the west side - it's the east siders that never leave......@mountandog wrote:I didn't know you were in that area. Thought you were up more Cleveland way.
