Happy Turket Day! Just came in from freezing watching the Macys Parade live! What fun in spite of the cold!

Happy Thanksgiving! Just ran the 77th Manchester Road Race, with Amby Burfoot as the honorary chair. He was running this race for the 51st time (he won it 9 times!). 15,000+ crazy runners and walkers. Just took it easy with my daughter, who has not been training all fall due to illness. But she looked strong today! Pies are in the oven!!

I'll be driving to Eugene and back today, visiting my stepmom and her family. Should be fun. One of the highlights will gauging the backed-up traffic coming back home tonight at the giant outlet mall.

8K Turkey Chase this morning. Kind of a tradition. Lakefront was cold and windy, brrrrrrrrr! 15F w/ wind chill. Brutal on the out with headwind and wind aided coming back. My wife and daughter ran. My state CC qualifier is still in recovery mode and yelled "daaaaaad," after the first quarter mile. So much for the fun run, I just wanted to get done as soon as possible. Chow time later.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends on 365!!  Always good to reflect back on the year and all our blessings.  Ran the Detroit Turkey Trot today.  22,000 people 50/50 on the 5k and 10k.  Still recovering from JFK but knocked off a 40:13  (1AG 3 yrs in a row) in snowy conditions.  Then ran the 5k immediately after with my 9 yr old.  What  a blast.  Yeah Lions.  Be safe everyone.
