Feeling a bit of Fatigue at the beginning of the week, and ended with two off days this week.  Tuesdays was for the Fatique, Friday was work related.  The 2-3 Quality days a week are really challenging me.

Mon: 11 Easy
Tue: Rest (intended)
Wed: 11 Easy
Thu: 8.5 w/ 2M@5:45/mile+1M@5:41+2x0.5M@(2:44,2:40) all with .25 recoveries.
Fri: Rest (Work got in the way)
Sat: 7.5 with a 5K Moderately Hilly and Very Soft Cross-Country Race 18:17 (1st OA)
Sun: 14 with Georgia 1/2 Marathon (Very Hilly) 1:19:37 (15 OA / 2nd AG) {Started the race tired, so what started as a seemingly easy race ended being a bit more challenging that i had hoped.}

Week: 51.5 Miles (kinda soft…)
YTD: 711 Miles (open all night!!!)

Also saw Michele, Yay.
Plus… Got my New Fenix 2 and my RRCA Running Coach Certificate (I'm now a USATF and RRCA Certified Coach)
So although tired, and rather low on miles, it's been a pretty good week.

bummer week.  Down to 42 miles.  Got some sort of tendinitis on my right leg on the outside of my shin a couple of inches up.  Can't run.  Shut it down after my run on Thursday and haven't been able to run a step since.  Ugh.

Chelsea had to drop out of her pacing assignment due to a soleus issue.  She can't hardly walk a step either.  Good thing she had a backup person.

Ugh - 4 weeks to go and now this.  Was supposed to get in a critical 12 mile MP run today.  Obviously never happened.  Just trying to get to Bos now.

I met Chelsea (finally) at the start of the race - she and Trevor and others were with Jill.  Jill ran great, but I don't see Chelsea and Trevor in the resutls - are they ok?

Semi recovery and taper week.  Decided to drive to Atlanta and stay for a couple of weeks as I'm just done with winter.

Tues - Easy 3.5 mile (30 min) run.  Felt a bit tight from the hills on Sunday; Work with trainer
Wed - 6.5 miles.  Included 8 x 1 min @ 7:20 pace.  Weather changed over run and I was drenched at the end (almost beat it); Core class
Thurs - 5 easy miles before leaving for KY
Fri - Driving
Sat - 3.2 miles with the local group that I used to coach, 10 striders
Sun - Publix Georgia Half Marathon - 1:43:07 (by my watch), 5th AG (out of 273), 121th Woman (out of 4428), 585th overall (out of 7838) 1.2 mile warm up

Second week of my double-hard/easy plan. Looking forward to a step back next week.

Tue: 2.2-mile “active recovery” walk
Wed: 3.1 miles running barefoot; 2.2 miles walking at work
Thu: 6.3-mile low HR run
Fri: Cranky shin, schedule conflict, took a rest day.
Sat: Regular rest day
Sun: 10.3 miles with an extended MAF test (which showed progress)
Mon: 20.2 miles on the trails - first extended trail run since last July!

Total: 44.2 miles (week before was 46.5; next week will be less)

Man, I need to go to one of those beginning runner's boards.  17 miles with a long of 5.  General plan is to get into the 20-25 mile/week range within the next month or so, then pick up the pace on those runs as the weight drops.  Started Goofy training in earnest in August-ish.
