Mon: 10 Miles Easy
Tue: 15 Miles - AM: 8 Miles Track [400 (1:10~1:15) / 800 (2:38s)] / PM: 7 Miles
Wed: 9 Miles Easy
Thu: 6 Miles Evening Race 1st OA (5K @5:27/mile in 85 degs + WU/CD)
Fri: 11 Miles Easy
Sat:14 Miles Easy
Sun: 16 Miles Easy (Helped a friend with this 6 Mile Pace-->Tempo Run 7:10~6:4x)


WTD: 82 Miles
YTD: 868 Miles

got in 53 this week.  yeah!!  big step forward.  Was sunny and 70 in Germany what a treat.  No fast stuff yet.  Did 16 today and felt really out of shape.  Oh well.

Mon - Day off
Tues - 10 miles with 6 @ MP over a hilly course in GA
Wed - 5 miles hilly route and warm (70F)
Thurs - 7 miles of trails, easy pace, some technical, fun
Fri - 16 miles with last 6 @ MP
Sat - Easy 6.2 miles
Sun - Drive back to Ohio

WTD: 44.2

Last week before taper starts.

Mon - 5.5 miles
Tue - 8.5 miles with 3x2 mile repeats at Hansen tempo pace
Wed - weights
Thu - 10.2 miles with 9.7 miles at MP
Fri - 6.9 miles
Sat - 12.4 miles
Sun - 12.0 miles

Week - 56 miles
YTD - 740 miles

Oops.

Things kind of went south for my body after a death in the family the Sunday before the week below started. It seems to have added just enough stress to the system to turn a niggle in my lower leg, ankle and foot into an ow-ow-OW! issue. Bah.

Mon: 10.3 miles, which took a lot more out of me than I expected. Exhausted. Sore.
Tue: Ow. Foot and lower leg goes haywire. Tight, very sore. Tingly? Still feel whipped.
Wed: Ow! Back spasm. Whaa? Oh, come on!
Thu: OW!! No better. Well, this sucks.
Fri: Resting, realized my $#@! shoes are defective, at least contributing to - and maybe causing - the problem. Tossed shoes.
Sat: Resting and icing, gently stretching. Slight improvement.
Sun: Still resting, some yard work. Leg feels a little better.

Week: 10.3 miles

I’m going to test the system today on an easy run with Alita and see how it feels.
