ran 20 miles this week.  15 of them in Scottsdale.  Hills and altitude.  Just took it easy during my annual golf pilgrimage with a great friend.  Get back to it this week with about 40 miles planned.  Mostly GA runs.

Martin, what happened to Kristina?

Mon - rest
Tue - 5.4 miles
Wed - 4.8 miles
Thu - 8.25 miles with 8 at MP
Fri - 6 miles
Sat - 16 miles
Sun - 6.9 miles

By Wednesday, as my recovery seemed to be going better than usual, I decided to do some test runs to see if I could do another marathon in two weeks since the weather is really cool out still. Saturday's long run was tough but part of it was the 30 MPH winds and golfing in the morning so nutrition was spotty. Anyway, I think I will try another one May 18th if the weather stays cooler and the marathons around here are open.

She had a little accident to were she cut her upper lip. It wasn't all that bad the issue was that part of the cut just broke the plain of the lip. So, to take caution, help with healing, and to help avoid scaring the doctors at NorthWestern Children's Hospital thought it would be best to give her a couple of stitches.

She just had them removed yesterday and everything looks great. The kid is a pretty tough cookie!

That's scary to any parents. Glad she is ok.
