Who wants water?

Ok...I am going to the 'fountain of fast' for the holiday weekend. Yes, I am going to Hal's fountain. i am happy to get water from the fountain and send it to anyone who wants it...really! I actually had someone ask me to do this so I am offereing it to everyone.

For those running Terrapin, I can bring it to the race or send it. I am so NOT kidding! One person asked so since I am doing it for one...why not whoever wants it? It is not holy water...but Hal-ly water!

Is it on Lakeshore Drive? If so, near what stop number?

My parents have a condo up there and I've run up and down Lakeshore many times, but haven't been able to figure out where this water fountain is.

Ok...well then I have probably passed you on the 'Drive'! I run there all summer! My parents live there full time so many of my summer training runs are up and down Lake shore.

The fountain is at Stop 28 as you head up the slight incline. It is the 3rd house from the stop sign. It is hard to see if you don't know it is there...along a rr tie type wall next to the driveway. Just a skinny little thing...but oh so nice!

If you are up there on the 4th, Hal's son does a simple 5K for the LB community for $5. Starts at the Old School House Community Center.

I'm sure we've crossed paths. I was there last weekend and ran on Saturday morning (6:30 am), Saturday early evening (6:00), and Sunday late morning (11:00).

My parents' condo is near Stop 2, so pretty close to Washington Park. Its a little off Lake Shore towards the beach. I'll be on the lookout at stop 28 next time I'm there. Unfortunately I have plans on the 4th, but I should be there a few more times this summer.

My parents home is right around the corner from stop 28....that is our beach access! I'm sure you have blown past me at some point or another!
