Mon - Core/strength
Tues - Pilates, 5 mi on treadmill w/6x400
Wed - Core/strength
Thurs - Dr. appointment
Fri - Core/strength, swim 2300 yds, 5 mi easy (12 degrees)
Sat - 6 mi on TM w/3x1 hills
Sun - Rest day
Week 16 mi
Not a stellar start to the new year but considering the weather it will suffice.
Here's to training without beta blockers...
Tues - Pilates, 5 mi on treadmill w/6x400
Wed - Core/strength
Thurs - Dr. appointment
Fri - Core/strength, swim 2300 yds, 5 mi easy (12 degrees)
Sat - 6 mi on TM w/3x1 hills
Sun - Rest day
Week 16 mi

Mon 1/2 – Day off
Tues 1/3– 6.2 miles with hill repeats (16 x 30 sec); 1 hr session with Trainer
Wed 1/4– Swam 2800 yds, Run 3.5 min Recovery miles
Thurs 1/5– 12 miles @ 9:14 overall pace. Added 2 x 10 min at tempo-ish pace (8-8:10); 1 hr of strength and core with trainer
Fri 1/6– 6.2 miles easy, Swam 1800m doing various drills (indoor pool is m; outdoor is yd)
Sat 1/7– 1.5 hrs on the Bike on the Trainer (too icy for anything else)
Sun1/8 – 8 miles easy on hills
WTD: 35.9 miles running; 25 miles on the Bike, 4700 yds swimming
