week 1 of taper complete.  13 days til race day.  i started a blog and i don't think anyone has figured out the gimmick yet.

m - 7 ez
t - 6.15 commute
w - 7.9 w/ 40min hal-style tempo
th - off
f - 8 w/ a few uptempo miles
s - 6.7 recovery on course
s - 14.4 w/ 9 @ 50k/mp ("uptempo")

week - 50.15

Mon - Core/strength, Swim 2250 yds
Tue - Pilates, Tractor time (finished the carrot planting)
Wed - Core/strength, Swim 2800 yds
Thur - Pilates, 6.5 mi w/8x400
Fri - Core/strength, Swim 2350 yds, Bike 11.5 to/from pool
Sat - Eagle Bakery group run 4 miles up and over the "M" hill
      - Canyon Crawl group run 5 mile trail run including lunch at the lake and a ride back to town.
Sun - Family stuff

It was time for a step back week and a step back week it was.  It was a very busy week on the farm but Saturday was fun.  Two group runs both very different but I enjoyed both of them.
