Re: Garmin refurbished $79.00 thoughts
230 for a 610 (after the rebate / 305 send in) was too good.
My 305's front buttons are starting to stick, and the rubber buttons are about to fall off.

Ok, I have an old 305 which still works fine except for the HRM, and I tried a new HRM which it will not read. Sooooo, it is probably time for a new Garmin.
So why should I get the 610 and all of its bells and whistles if I never even used half of the stuff on my 305 - like the virtual partner, workouts, other sports - why should I not get something as simple as a 110???

I agree. I use about 3 functions on my 405 at the very most. When my 405 is done, I'll consider something that borderlines a stopwatch and a GPS device. The 110 seems like a good candidate. Hopefully the price will drop significantly when I need to change.

Michele:
For you, I would guess the 210 would work.
I wanted the 1 sec recording, the pace smoothing, updated GPS software/chipset and display options.

Agreed.
Time of the day, distance, pace in Tempo workout and lap in intervals are all I need. My 405 can only last 3 hours 10 minutes now, so next time I look for something simpler, smaller and last longer.
