I'm new to this and am just learning about all of the different kinds of races, but found this and thought it was really cool - makes me want to do something like it someday (God willing). Forgive me if this is old hat and everyone has already seen it... I can't hardly imagine doing it but can find just enough that I think maybe I'll actually do a long ultra someday. Fun to dream anyway....

These athletes are incredible I think!

If it's the 2012 or 2013 race, you've got a floor/futon to crash on, man. I (will soon) live about 1.5 miles from the finish line.
