Which marathon shoe?
I am trying to decide between the Ronin 3's (7oz) and Brooks T7's (6oz)
I have run in the Ronin 3's for GA runs and pace runs also last weekends 20 with 5@mp. No issues to think of.
I use the Brooks T7's for LT workouts and recently did the HM race in them. I felt these shoes despite a bit lighter to be a bit softer on the landing and really worked well for me. The only issues is my quads for a few days after were quite sore.
I need to make a decision on which shoe to wear for Oct 15th Marathon. Both shoes will have over 80+ miles come race day so I'd like to order a fresh pair soon. (but which one)
This Saturday I have a 5k race I will wear the brooks but Sunday I have a 17 miler should I take the brooks out on this run and see how 17 miles feel during the run and how my legs are after?
Thanks for the feedback.

Re: Which marathon shoe?
Are you leaning toward one or the other? Just on what you said, I might say the Ronin just because my quads are sore enough after a marathon without wearing shoes that I know maybe make them that way a little more. But I am no shoe expert. I only have 1 style I wear.

I'd go Ronins. That's what I'm wearing and you're a bit bigger than me. That pounding over 26.2 might take a toll on the legs that you could end up paying for in that last 1oK.
