Yep, I have it, and I'm in it, too. I really like it. I think it's quite an improvement from the previous edition, but I really benefited from that book, too.

Hal sent me the unrevised version for review. Yeah, almost everyone here is quoted!

Not to stir the pot (too much)... but... remember when people used to say that we should just be happy over there because it was free? Maybe it was free, but it certainly wasn't without economic incentive.

Did I get left on the cutting room floor? I was in the 3rd edition.

So is TV and we still watch it. I have nothing against advertising that makes it free. If they would force you to upgrade then I'd have a problem. The way the IT guys change websites thinking they know how it should be without surveying first is what bugs me! Hey Hal has a right to make money, it's the American way. He makes so much of his plans available free it's hard to say anything negative about him. He's still a heck of a nice guy in my book. There, enough said on that subject!Mike MacLellan wrote:Not to stir the pot (too much)... but... remember when people used to say that we should just be happy over there because it was free? Ditto. As someone who runs multiple content based internet sites, I don't begrudge anyone making money from their provision of generally free material supplemented by premium items. It tends to be a good and valid business plan. And I also don't blame Hal for how the IT people over there screwed up their forums, which unfortunately still were not running very well for me the last time that I stopped by.
