Been off the boards a bit just in a transition phase as I go through the motions of post-marathon recovery. Will have final 5 mile race in a few weeks on the boards of asbury park. Weather not being a factor should bring home a solid PR.
IN the meantime contemplating my 2012 schedule. Tossed right now between going Maniacal or keeping it sane!

Yeah, me too...I kind of needed that mental break from running to recharge. But I am back now!!

Re: That was Zen this is Now!
I believe I will be registering for the NY Half Marathon lottery race is in March. Then come June I might go with my BadAss 500 plan. I was looking for an April Marathon but so far nothing close as I feel I can go sub 3:20 in april. BadAss 500 might keep me out of contention for any PR's the rest of the 2012.

Sounds like you are definitely teetering! Whatever you do, I'm sure you'll have fun doing it. I love seeing your running progress - inspirational to me as well!

Re: That was Zen this is Now!
Just running along here nothing crazy easy runs sprinkled with some mile repeats and hal style tempos. Training for hopefully NYC HM starts in January assuming I get in. Otherwise, not sure.
Re: That was Zen this is Now!
Still running! I plan on coming back full force on the blog in January when I kick of my training schedule. I fill I Have been MIA and not following the great blogs on this site. I plan on having a pretty nice schedule for first part of 2012.
Re: That was Zen this is Now!
Glad to hear your with it still - nice to just run for running sake and not formally train sometimes!

Thanks John. Yet I am sill with it. Just undecided on 2012 at this moment which is kind of new for me. Should be back with a vengeance Jan 2nd.
Re: That was Zen this is Now!
I am still here! Winding down my post marathon recovery which really starting to wind back up to prepare for marathon training. Been hitting some good runs with mile repeats some Tempo run Higdon style and finish off next week with a 5 mile race.

Re: That was Zen this is Now!
