Shamrock Shuffle

Anyone running the Shamrock Shuffle next weekend in Chicago? Our firm is sponsoring 100 employees to run so I figured what the hell and signed up. I don't run very many short races but thought this would be fun and a test for the half I am training for later this spring. I am starting in Wave 1, Corral B. The firm is giving us green shirts with the firm name, McGladrey, on the front. So look for me if anyone else is participating.

I'll be there. Haven't decided what my plan is for pace, since I'm supposed to have a 20 miler that weekend. Last year I did 17 before the race and ended with the race to complete a 22 miler.

I'm afraid if I don't race it this year I may lose my spot in Corral A.

I'm running it again this year, thinking about running backwards and in a spedo this year.

Me no understand. This is a St.Patrick's day race. Today is that day. I guess it would interfer with that drunken green beer parade or something, dang! At least why not tomorrow? I guess we get to celebrate all week long and damage our livers.
