I ran Napa 3/4 and have not laced up for a run since then. And I feel guilty but I love it! No getting up at 4:30, no cold runs, no potholes in the dark. I am getting attached to my new food baby.

Tom'w marks 4 weeks with the only running me being ref for my daughters U10 soccer. All good things must come to an end, back on the road this weekend.

What is the longest non-injury break from running you have taken.

A couple days? What a Face The week after a marathon is pretty light. But by the next week I'm starting to ramp up again. I did blow up in mid-September and didn't run (okay, I ran maybe 5x total) for 6 weeks. But I consider that an injury... of the mind. BAM.

Won't be making that mistake again.

Five to seven days during a family vacation. Probably five. If not injured, I am scheming how and when to run.

I think about 4 days. And I was itching to get back on the road.

It doesn't sound like you enjoy running very much...

I understand the part about waking up at 0400, esp. now that I live in New England on a busy road. I bought a treadmilll to alleviate that concern. I still can't believe that I ran over 6000 miles over two years in TN without ever seeing the sun, except on race days.
