I was going to get back to it this week after a step back, but a virus intervened.
Mon: 10 miles with BIL
Tue: 2.2 walking
Wed: Merry Christmas!
Thu: Is that a tickle? Oh, oh...
Fri: 90 min low HR (7.9 miles)... followed by sinus explosion. Dangit!
Sat: Honnnnnk! (Coworkers say it sounds like I'm killing elephants when I blow my nose...)
Sun: Honnnnnk! (Looks at beautiful day outside, whacks head on wall.)
Week: 21.1 miles total, 2.5 gallons of snot
Mon: 10 miles with BIL
Tue: 2.2 walking

Post marathon (peak week) 40 miles YTD 2,700-2800 Heading into step back week then start HM training

Dealing with once again re-learning to run in the snow and ice. Week 1 of Boston training - still really just building.
Mon - 40 min easy
Tues - Day off for Christmas
Wed - 40 min easy
Thurs - 50 min with 8 x 20 s pickups
Fri - Day off running - workout on treadmill with Jillian (you walk at 4 mph at 15% incline for a 30 min total)
Sat - 1:30 min run (8 miles in the snow and ice)
Sun - 30 min easy
Total miles: 27 miles
Mon - 40 min easy
Tues - Day off for Christmas
Wed - 40 min easy
Thurs - 50 min with 8 x 20 s pickups

T: 13 am some hills, 6 pm attacked by thorn bush on trail behind sister's house. more scars on the legs, sigh.
W: 12 progression tempo to 10k pace, 6 pm
Th: 11 am, 5 pm on dark trail with new headlamp. I need the practice. gulp.
F: 10 am on hills. good stuff.

119 miles for week. 3 weeks until my first 100. time to taper and freak out.
