DNQ for Boston

OK, I am thrilled that my application for Boston 2014 has been accepted through the additional application forum they provided (just got the email). I tried so hard to re-qualify at Chicago but that PF cost me some training and time. So I will be a DNQ (did not qualify) but will still be there to run. Due to being just a block and a half away when the bombs went off, and seeing the smoke and chaos first hand, and the next day's events with police/soldiers everywhere, it will mean a lot to me to be there and run this again. I really thank the BAA for recognizing people in this situation who weren't able to qualify.

Yeah!!!!!!  I'm so glad that you will be there, John, as it will be great to see you.  I tried to convince Vivian to apply, but alas.....no go. My friend, Ken, got in as well (he had just crossed the line).  Now let's both get there healthy!
