got in 60 miles this week including one speed workout.  The hamstring is coming along much faster than I thought.  Medium heat but high humidity have definitely put some challenges in some of the runs.  Debating a July 4th 5k or 10k.  Will have to see how the leg is doing mid-week.  Target this coming week 60+.  70 if I don't race.

Tough getting used to the hills here in western NY and the weather has been a challenge - not too hot but extremely high humidity (over 80% most mornings).

Mon - Day off
Tues - 6.2 miles; Strength & core class
Wed - Easy 5 miles, very humid morning
Thurs - 7 miles at the track done as 4 x 1000m; 3 x 200m, w/u; c/d
Fri - Easy 5 miles in the rain/almost rain; Strength & core class
Sat - 12 miserable miles in the heat (72F) and humidity (88%) (even at 7am)
Sun - Day off

WTD:  35.2 miles

week 23rd Ultra training

Monday rest

tuesday 18 hilly road miles humid

Wednesday 14 trail including 4 miles of sand dunes very tough

Thurs.  rest

Friday 10 miles road bike trail

Saturday  20 miles  first 3.1 trail 5K was suppose to be laid back 5K didn't happen ran the course the fastest I ever have for that course Very Happy .Then the next 17 were a miserable humid hot run mostly on the road hardest run this year. Real bad plan but we finished.


Sunday 8 miles in trails the humidity so thick again and the mud was off the charts

70 miles for the week Most I've ever run!

249.05 for the month (I wish I could go walk .95 to make it 250 I can't I'm pooped

wow - big mileage and long runs.  good work.  You could crawl that last 0.95 if you can't walk.

Getting back in the swing of things after my 100 and looking for another in Sept or Oct.

Mon: Yoga x + 8 am + 5.3 pm
Tue: 11 am
Wed: Yoga x + 6 am + 10.3 pm
Thu: 5 am + 6 noon
Fri: Yoga x + 8 am
Sat: 5 am pushing stroller + 70 mile ride
Sun: 12 am pushing stroller
