Yes or No?
Leaderboard Vote Final
From the comments including my take id like to finalize this:
if you agree to the below pick Yes if not pick Your nose. I mean pick No.
Anyone who is a member counts regardless of # of posts.
Leaderboard 1 "All-Time Record Holders" using the past leaderboard from HH forum. Which dates back to 2010. Almost if not all leaders are on this forum.
Leaderboard 2 "2011 Record Holders" I will create a new sticky thread (or matt will) for everyone who chooses to post their 2011 times for each distance. Each year this board will be update 2012, 2013 ...
I can update both as times come in accordingly. To a sticky leaderboard thread
This poll will self destruct in 6 days'

Re: Leaderboard Vote Final
KB, I will pick my nose, thank you.
While I'm at it ... why don't you take a good long look at the Best of 2011 records -- Open & Age Groups maintained by James Moreland for the Washington Running Report. This list presents the best times at races in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia by distance and year for each age group in a compelling and elegant format. I'm not suggesting you use it as a model [as your universe of members is far smaller]. But you may like a thing or two that you may wish to incorporate into your format.
Still picking ...
Oh, by the way, why are you calling it a leader board? Is it a race? Is it a tournament? Is there a leader? Record board is what you called it before. It was properly named then.

Like the format but I think because of our smaller pool of people it might be overkill. I'll review in more detail and maybe pull some other data out of it. I think this could be simple or we can make it as complex as we want. At the very least I can get this up and running and we can always change it based on someone elses creation. Nothing is set in stone!

Agreed, but I do kind of like the idea of having both current year and overall record views... but could live without it. How's that for non-commital?

That's like what is done is track and field. When you look at a start list, it shows the runners' personal best and season best. I'm cool with that.

This thread feels an awful like the "power of the pen" in brainstorming sessions.

Re: Leaderboard Vote Final
The PR and Season-best list was my idea, so I will obviously vote for that.
I'm also in favor of starting over, because even though this is mostly the same group of people, it is not HH's V-Team board. But I am fine either way.
I do agree with calling it a Record Board because 'leader' implies some type of contest.
