What beer is in your fridge right now? How is it?
Oskar Blues Brewery - Dales Pale Ale (Love this stuff, not sure why, it is hoppy?)
Oskar Blues Brewery - Old Chub Scotch Ale (Good, but not what I been craving)
Harpoon Brewery - UFO PUMPKIN (Sucks, too much pumpkin spice, not enough beer or pumpkin)
Recently finished Dogfish Head Punkin Ale - I really like this it is my favorite Pumpkin Ale (I love Pumpkin everything, so I really like it!)

Mostly because beer is delicious and there's no reason to deprive yourself of said deliciousness for anywhere near that long.
Plus, I really don't think having a few beers here and there is going to affect your training. I'm not advocating getting hammered a couple times a week, but a well placed buzz at say, a Brewers or Wisconsin game, shouldn't be a big deal.

We're not worthy....!
I have some Sam Adams Boston Lager, Michelob Ultra, Avery's Brewery Nellie's Brown Ale, and a couple of bottles of Kendall Jackson Chardonnay!
Re: We need a Beer (or Wine) Thread - What's in your Fridge???
We usually have a huge variety since we both brew and we like to hit up Binny's a lot for things to try. I know that right now we have Sam Adams Octoberfest, 312, Dark Horse Raspberry, Moose Drool Brown Ale, a Midas Touch from Dogfish Head, a bottle of Berghoff Hefe, a corked bottle of some kind of imperial IPA, and the following home brews: Gold Ale, IPA, a friend's Red Ale, another friend's Red Ale and Raspberry Ale, and yet another friend's Honkers Clone. There is more in there, but those are the ones I can remember. We are bottling my wheat beer sometime this week too....

Because you are not a serious runner like Jerry.
Did I just admit no beer in mine too? For years since I started running, I figured the best way to control weight is not to store any junk foods at home. I may be lazy, but am certainly serious in running, winning and tiger blood.

Re: We need a Beer (or Wine) Thread - What's in your Fridge???
At this moment, all limited production in the fridge:
6 Schlafly Weissbier (oops, make that 5!) - these are limited summer production so I've gotta drink 'em!
1 Sierra Nevada Estate Brewers Harvest 2009 (24oz)
1 Sierra Nevada Life & Limb 2 Barleywine (24oz)
1 Firestone Abacus Reserve Series 2011 (22oz)
***
1 Boulevard Brewing Collaboration #2 (750ml)
1 Deschutes Brewery Conflux #2 (1pint 6oz)
These 2 beers were conceived when the brewmasters from Deschutes in Bend, OR and Boulevard in KC, MO had dinner one night and talked about what kind of 'new beer' they'd like to brew. They collaborated on the recipe, and Boulevard brewed their version while Deschutes brewed their version. The results are outstanding!
***
2 Westvleteren 6
2 Westvleteren 8
2 Westvleteren 12
***Google Westvleteren - best beer in the world.

I'm on the wagon until after St. George, but in my fridge are:
Slow Elk Oatmeal Stout (Big Sky Brewery)
Big Sky Pale Ale
Starborough (New Zealand) Sauv Blanc
not in the fridge, but some more bottles of wine on the wine-rack in the basement.

Re: We need a Beer (or Wine) Thread - What's in your Fridge???
My fridge is empty of beer at the moment (I don't drink the cheap stuff, so I have to really want a beer before I'll buy it, and then I buy only a couple at a time), but it has been home to:
-Deschutes Mirror Pond Pale Ale (mostly)
-BridgePort Blue Heron Ale (for a change of pace)
-Widmer Bros. Drop Top Amber Ale (every once in a while)
-Newcastle Brown Ale (when I want something incredibly delicious that isn't local)
-Rogue Dead Guy Ale (for birthdays and Halloween, of course )
We also often have sparkling wine (Prosecco is quite good, if you've never had it.), and when we're feeling flush and really celebrating, honest-to-gosh Champagne. De-lish.

I don't have beer in my fridge. We really don't drink at home that often. I have some Patron in the freezer and I believe there is a bottle of jager. I tend to only drink on the weekends and pretty much that's just Fridays. Like Jerry, if the junk food and crap is here, I will consume it.
A Corona sure does sound good right now though!

Re: We need a Beer (or Wine) Thread - What's in your Fridge???
Right now there's not a lot, but in there now are:
Rahr & Sons Ugly Pug (Black Lager/Schwarzbier) - a good local brewery in Fort Worth
Dogfish Head Punkin Ale - someone above said they liked this one, but I have to disagree. I dont get any pumpkin taste whatsoever out of it, and find it a bit bitter for my tastes. I was disappointed.
Sierra Nevada/Dogfish Life and Limb 2 - outstanding beer, but very strong. I've put one away to age a while, so I think it will get even better!
Also some Blue Moon and Weinhard's around too, but not in the fridge. I'm in the midst of scouring for a beer fridge for the garage, at which time the amount of beer around here will increase dramatically!

I've only got a few Coronna's left from the weekend...But I have a new favorite beer brewed in Bellaire, MI. Short's "Soft Parade". It's hard to find outside of Michigan but thankfully I found a retailer just across the state line.
http://www.shortsbrewing.com/beer/our-portfolio/annual-beers/the-soft-parade/
This may have to be the beer of choice after next years Bayshore...

I quit drinking a few days ago. I plan to start up again soon. Probably tonight. Definitely by the weekend.

Blue Moon and Shipyard IPA and I think my step mom left some god awful Keystone in there. Maybe I can give that one away.

I will be the odd one here.
No beer in my frig, now or ever.
I had one in college in 1970 - none since.
Just not part of what I do.
