Thank You Chris, any 15k's?
Now Tim acts biased.
Seriously though Jerry, that's pathetic! I went through the 10 mile of my half marathon over the weekend (at marathon pace, by the way) about 2.5 minutes faster than that!

I just think it is funny that Chris called you out. It is pathetic but it is also pathetic that I have not run these other distances.

No, but I will search for one and jog one just to erase Jerry's awful time.

Fine. In the mean time, Tim is obligated to put my name and time there. Chris, make sure you don't bandit the race. You got to pay $$$. Mine was free. Who is winning now?!

Re: All-Time Record Holders Reporting Thread
Tim. Thanks for taking on this task. Here are my best results this year, all age 65:
Dubai Marathon 10K, 27th January, 41:28.
Ras al Khaimah Half Marathon, 17th February, 1:40:07.
Brueton parkrun 5K, 17th March, 20:14.
London Marathon, 22nd April, 3:31:02.
I did hope to improve that dreadful half-marathon time next month, but I'm out with an injury, so those look like final figures for the year.
If you're still updating 2011, I have, also age 65:
Dubai Creek Half Marathon, 9th December, 1:33:58.

London Marathon, 22nd April, 3:31:02.

fostever wrote:Thanks, but it's not that important and I want to give credit where credit is due, that 10 miler gets me on the board for now. I think it's really cool to have a nationally recognized runner on the forum here, keep up the great work. After next year I'll be in the 55-59 and then have to contend with Michael Young. It's all for the fun of the boards!Dave Bussard wrote:fostever wrote:OK, I'll put in my 10 miler from April 2012 (Lakefront 10) just to see how long it lasts. 1:05:49. I would put up my 10K from Bayshore (39:xx,) but I see that Dave Bussard had a 34:47 at Sunburst in South Bend this year in June so what's the point. geez, 5:35 pace, that might be my mile PR. Also, since I'm so impressed by Dave and officially met him at Bayshore I'll report his half marathon time there: 1:16:01.
Steve... You can have it. Submit your time and enjoy it!

Dave, Just please don't run a marathon......kills me that you did a half. Need to leave something for the other old guys. Good luck on Kentucky this year! I'm passing but will see you next year in Bend.

Ed...No need to worry about the marathon. It's not going to happen.
But I'm going to submit yesterdays Half Marathon. Kind of proud of it because it far exceeded my expectations and....it's probably my last big road race,...really backing off running and no plans of any racing for a long time, after Club XC in Dec. It's time to move on.

Yep it's true. I'm done with competitive racing. I'll still run but it's time to be a fun runner and run when I want to, not because I have to...walking away 100% happy. But I'll be a lot happier if my team medals at Lexington...

I hate to see someone of your caliber retire from the sport, but damn Dave, what a way to go out. Congrats, and good luck in Lexington.

All-time PRs are:
2011: 1:21:58 half (25-29 AG)
2012: 2:55:31 marathon (30-34 AG)
On a side note it was cool looking at Athlinks to see the progression. I guessed wrong on a few race times.

Why yes it did! We knew it would be close but we ended up on the podium in 3rd behind CalCoast and your Club Northwest.
