Today is the US Olympic Trials
Before heading out to volunteer at the Yellow water station on Shepherd, which is the western end of the course and the turnaround point, I wanted to paint the weather at this time.
At the start line right now, it's 43 degrees, a dewpoint of 28 degrees and a wind out of the southeast at 1 mph. A few miles west of the start line out of downtown, it's 36 degrees. Clear skies.
Now going out to meet up with KB and Michele.

The field passed the 10k mark at around 30 minutes with the sun in their eyes, as they head back downtown with Ryan Hall in the lead.

Re: Today is the US Olympic Trials
I heard that Meb won and Hall was second. That would make Abdi third more than likely.
The women @ 22 are at 2:04:05 for a 2:29 pace with Davila just ahead of Shalame by one length.

Not to understate it, but that's some great running! I'm happy for all of you who got to see it.

Yeah, the rest of us had to track it via live blogging, thanks to our friends at NBC.

I LOVED IT. Amazing. The atmosphere was ELECTRIC. Goodness gracious. I got to hang out with Joel, watch it on the Jumbtron...Great...
Re: Today is the US Olympic Trials
DVR'd it. Blasting thru the commercials and I watched it in an hour. Managed to stay in the "bubble" and not know the results in advance.

What do I have to do to get these conditions?

Actually yes, and Desi's as well. I need to rinse them out and use them to see if I can get that fast The guy I worked with kept Kara's for his daughter.
