Emabssy Suite Hotel Philly is wacked

Just looked at booking Embassy Suites in Philly for the marathon. Last few years I paid $225 per night. For Nov 2012 $419 per night. WHat are they insane. I will drive in the morning of before I spend $419 at a hotel in Philly.

so I booked the Four Seasons through the race events agent and paid only $235 per night. Embassy is NOT part of the marathon package so I think they are just taking advantage knowing they will fill up anyway as other hotels sell out. Interesting plan they have!

I love and hate Embassy. In Lincoln, you have to book 2 or 3 nights if you want to stay there on a weekend. How stupid is that! It's a racket.
