So this is the 5th week coming back to training with 40mpw first two weeks and 50 2nd two. I am doing good. Shockingly, my weight topped 140 this morning. Time to get serious on ...... everything.

5th week:

July 23, Monday: Rest
July 24, Tuesday: AM: 5

Plan for another workout in the afternoon during Lucy's soccer training session.

Dang Jerry, you may catch me in the weight department soon. I am right at 150 right now. I know I can't get down to 123 like you though...not sure I would want to either.

Well, I am still alive. Have been very busy and stressful and didn't run much with job changes and relocation. We moved 20 miles south to Dallas to be 1 mile away from Lucy's school. Finally, we found a house and closed it. I swear I will not want to move for another 10 years unless I win a lottery.

August: 60 miles.

September: 67 miles with 25 and 35 in last 2 weeks. The longest is 11.

Excuse aside, I have been really lazy. My alarm is at 5:00am, but most of times, I get up at 6 and more of later, thus don't have time to run more before work. That's the problem I need to work on from now on.

3 months to Houston, if I could run 1:23:45 half in 4 weeks of training in March, with 8 weeks to improve upon that, I would still have hope to flute another sub 3.

10/1, Monday: 8 miles.

Any news? Ah, I have been to The Straight Ln twice, one of the weathiest residential area in Dallas. It was fun the first time, but the 2nd time, I found all the security camera etc on the gates intimidating, especially one time, I took a turn to the side path and only found myself in a dead end of front gates. Armed guard around, heehee, I am not going.

Besides, it's depressing to see where those people live.

Other than that, the area I will be running is still high end, much nicer than I used to run and with huge trees, the coming Summer, running will be much less scary. I haven't found yet, but anticipate some hills, thus will be extremely good to my flat legs, I suppose.

10/2, Tuesday

10 miles.

Was thinking about 8, then in this still unfamilar territory ran into dead end and circle path a couple of time, thus ended with 10.

10/3, Wednesday

9.6.

First time get out early around 5:40am, but Lucy has a 3 days field trip and I wanted to be back home before she left. She couldn't care less. Should've finished at 10 at least. lol!

I am feeling fitness coming back though.

I don't have Dishnetwork setup yet in my new place, but did setup PS3 accessing youtube and netflix. It's so cool to watch youtube on HDTV.

HaHa Jerry looks like you have been on the same training plan for awhile. Although I have to admit things have really picked-up for me the last 3 weeks. I will be starting a blog I have some big I mean BIG goals for this coming year starting with Boston in April.

Let me think what I did the past several days.

Saturday/Sunday, I didn't run. Play soccer Sunday afternoon with 4:1 win. I moved up from defense to forward at when we were at 4:0 early 2nd half, but didn't captalize a couple of opportunities, then sprained my left ankle. Took shoes, socks etc out. 5 minutes after, I walked it off, but was too lazy to get back in. Not much time left anyway.

40 miles last week.

10/8, Monday: No run.

10/9, Tuesday: 8 miles, could've gotten up earlier for more. Still working on my lazy ass.

10/10, Wednesday, 12, much better.

6 miles recovery, mostly on the lawn around the high school by my house, 0.8 mile per loop, good to the PF potential right foot.

Just jumping in here toward the end. Didn't you just move last year or am I mistaken? Time flies or not. Some sort of discussion about a swimming pool and being able to buy a home without one. Was that this year?

That was this year.

No swimming pool, but I have played soccer with Lucy in the back yard once. Very cool.

Saturday, 10/13

13.1

The plan was 16. The mile 13 was like mile 18 in a 20 before, so I used Sunday's soccer game as an excuse to end it at half distance. Still the longest since I came back last month.

Lucy played first time full back in her club soccer game and did a great job marking and holding the position. 0:2 loss, but the team is getting better, which all it counts.

Sunday, 10/14

5 recovery.

I didn't think I would be fully recovered for 7:00pm soccer game which was canceled later. Should've ignored the stupid soccer game for a little more. I did quite some house work which was way overdue. Heehee.

Lucy played another soccer game with her prior team. 0:2 loss again. The girls put on a good fight, but somehow forgot positions etc. I used to be the assistant coach before we moved. Technically I still am and can stand by the coach. Out of respect to the new assistant, I sat on parent side. Regret, as I was shocked by some parents behavior, bad mouth a 10 years old girl. The team a year ago had a goal difference of -50+ and now is 4 win, 2 loss, GD of 5. Some still unhappy. Guess if you are not a happy person,...... The parents are quitting their girls on the team. I am happy.

52 miles this week, no soccer myself.

Monday, 10/15

Ready to go out at 6:00am and found out Garmin was out of battery. Came back around 7:14, probably ran 7-8 miles. I will see if I can be out early enough for a 16.

Soccer game, 5:0. As a defense, Jerry assisted the first goal with a shot on goal, the goalie fumbled and let my teammate made an easy touch into the empty net. The clean sheet tells you how good Jerry did his defense job. Heehee.

Weekly: so I did about 40 this week plus a soccer game.
