Kind of reminds me of the body scanners at airports. Maybe it's for the traveling runner.

I was looking for an April Fool's type statement, it can't possibly be real. One of those shots has screws on either side holding the bones together.

Nice catch on the screws.

It could be a joke, but this Nike Blog is legit. They have info and pics of new releases months prior to actual release. So I don't know..

My daughter Chelsea thinks they'd be great for a Halloween marathon/race in the next couple of weeks. Maybe they are a Halloween stunt instead of April Fools.

Thus the reason Nike even has it on their blog....I mean seriously check out just about any racing event (not just halloween or holiday races), we runners will wear just about anything.

I for one would not wear them but I would get a chuckle out of anyone who did wear them. Kudos to whoever has the "guts" to do it!
