SFH is not the only (famous)female athlete taking up this endeavor. When I was living in Vegas, countless coeds from SEC schools, California, and the Longhorn state flew out to Vegas on weekends to help pay for their college education and gain extra spending money. Escorts, Dancers--you name it. I couldn't believe all the UNLV coeds driving red convertible SL Benz's. Ka-ching!!!!

Now that there's so much Russian, Chinese, and South American money hitting Vegas, I'm sure that rates are moving well above $600/hr.

I watched her run the Falmouth Mile years ago. Shook her hand and congratulated her after her dropping a world leading time. Very nice person. Had a major crush on her. Her NCAA 800/1500 double is still one of the most impressive collegiate accomplishments I've seen.

It does explain why the "naked" Nike ad that she did seemed so effortless. I actually always liked her and I honestly have no issue with it if that was her choice - so be it.

What is sad is that the media has this plastered all over the place today. Why the whole world needs to know about this is beyond me. This just isn't front page news if you ask me...

She has undoubtedly hurt a lot of people with her selfish actions. Most of all her little daughter.

It's not a victimless crime at all.

On the other hand, it sounds like she was very depressed and people often do self-destructive things when they are depressed. It's really just sad.

What I read said that every time she did business it was illegal, even the sessions in Vegas.

Sorry that I am late to the party, but since I live in Madison, I have heard a lot about this story...

I think that whe was having a mid-life crisis. Guys buy expensive sports cars and female ex-olympic runners become call girls. But in all honesty, I think she had a mid-life crisis. I know that she is now seeking therapy to help her figure things out.

The things that I do not understand is that she didn't need the money, as she has a decent realty business here in Madison. Also, her husband knew about it and didn't approve of it, but really didn't try to stop her.
