I'll start this week as I'm in Singapore and 13 hours ahead of my timezone. A lot of slow miles here, it's too hot to put many fast miles in.

Tue - 8.4 miles
Wed - 8 miles mostly at MP
Thu - rest
Fri - 6.8 miles
Sat - 5.2 miles
Sun - 20 miles, last five miles were slower with some walking but I am getting acclimated here
Week - 55 miles
YTD - 339 miles

Hope you are enjoying Singapore. My hubby will be there when we are in Boston - let's just hope the weather stays with him.
Mon - Day off, travel home from Atlanta
Tues - 8 miles with striders
Wed - 4.8 miles in an obnoxious wind, Core class
Thu - 5.6 miles in the snow
Fri - 3.5 easy miles. Body and legs tired, cut it short due to long run on Sat
Sat - 22.05 miles. The 0.05 is important as a friend ran his on Fri and posted 22.04 (!). Ave about 50-60sec slower than MP and felt great
Sun - 6.2 miles easy. Ended up running way faster than seemed possible after 22 miles, but felt good.
WTD: 50.15 miles
YTD: 455

Thanks for kicking it off this week John. Make sure you enjoy food from the street vendors. My personal favorites are Roti Canai (pronounced 'Chennai' which is 'Madras' in Tamil and is actually a reference to its origin) and Char kway teow (I call it cholesterol heaven). The absolute best street food in the world is found in Malaysia and Singapore. Have at it!

Re: Your Week in Training Mar 18 - 24
Tough week due to travel, partying and little sleep:
Got home late from Nashville (wedding) with the family after a 10 hour drive due to weather and traffic. Ugh
Mon - 10 @ 7:43 @ the crack of dawn
Tue - 8 treadmill @ 7:49 > then flew to Germany
Wed afternoon Germany time - 13 w/ 10 @ 6:45 - ouch
Thu - 8 @ 8:09 - all I could do to muster that pace
Fri - 4 @ 7:50 on treadmill after driving up to Frankfort
Sat - Fly home then 7 @ 8:22. Still sore and tired from the trip
Sun - 20 @ 7:34 with miles #15-17 @ 6:40,6:37,6:35 > good hard run but am definitely feeling it tonight. 6:40 pace for BOS is seeming to be a bit of a stretch right now. Got the mileage in at the right paces over the last three months, but it seems a bit aggressive for me. We shall see how the taper goes starting in a week.
70 for the week.

Texas Independent Relay over the weekend, Jerry's first relay
Sat:4.7+5.6

Team Hidden Dragon finished 47 out of 143.
How hard can it be to split 20 miles 4 ways? Jerry thought before the race.
Harder than a marathon. Jerry learned. Legs still trashed.
