Re: An Arrest in Boston
My next door neighbor used to live in Watertown and now rents out his
house (Watertown is popular with renters, with many large multifamily
homes close together on small lots). His house is one street over from
Franklin St and the boat could be seen from there, across the back
yards. He called his tenants, who said there were hundreds of police
around, and when there was gunfire, they put their girls on the floor of
the bathroom. It sickens me to think of all the people, particularly children, who were terrorized in that perfectly ordinary residential neighborhood.
I am so, so relieved that it is over.

Michele, do you still have the accent now that you're living away?
Just the "r" thing and the use of wicked. I say things like "idear" and "pizzer", but the best one is how I say the word "drawrings". Other than that not really.
