Compression Shorts
Does anyone (male) run in them here? For a long, long time, I've been wanting to get myself a pair of short (running shorts length) compression shorts. Lots of shorts in that sentence, and now the word looks funny. Shorts. Shhhhhorts.
Anyway, anyone? Recommendations? I'm not looking for the benefits of the compression from them, just to have something obnoxiously flashy (they'd be hot pink or yellow or something) to wear.

I have. They are nice. I wear them to work. I have BCG's and they have worked for me.
Re: Compression Shorts
I wear them every time I run. I have short ones for my 1-2" inseam shorts and longer ones for my 5" inseam running shorts. I think they help a lot. I don't have to worry about chaffing, which I am sure would occur if I didn't have them. I really don't think that the brand matters, because I both Nike and Under Armor brands.

Ha! One of our Dances With Dirt teammates bought those one year....only Tom wouldn't get in on the fun.
Re: Compression Shorts
So Mike, you just mean half-tights?
Yes, I've run and raced in them. I like them for when its in the 35-50 degree range. They're warmer than shorts. I have Nike and CW-X, both are great.

Dave, what's the latest you've heard on Lauren? It's been many years since I've seen her around.

Re: Compression Shorts
I guess they'd be called half-tights, I didn't know such a thing existed. But something similar to the photos that have been posted. I'll start doing some research...

Here's the Nike pair I have.

Also, I wear a pair of spandex briefs underneath. Wearing only the half-tights can be a little revealing.
Re: Compression Shorts
I've run in compression shorts or track shorts for 10 years. I've worn a couple of different styles, but love these the most.

They're thin and last a long time.

Re: Compression Shorts
Serious runners don't show off in training runs. Then if you wear it to races, you better be really fast, or fat, or funny, or hopeless...

High hormone is one indicator of successful peaking. Apparently pros know what they are doing.
