Sat  26.2  race  48-66°F Northern Central Trail Marathon -- 3:58:08.
Sun     -       .        A fitting result for a poor training cycle.

Mon - No running (recovering from an allergic reaction)
Tues - 4 easy morning/5 night - hill run
Wed - Travel day
Thurs - 4 easy in Central Park
Fri - 7 in Central Park
Sat - 7 in Central park
Sun - Travel Day

Yes indeed Michele, it was a blast. But this one hurt more than others simply because I hadn't put in the necessary miles. I did, however, get to meet several of the mid-Atlantic age-elite runners in a relaxed setting after the race before awards were presented in the school gym. That's always a blast.

Tim: good luck to you at CIM in a week. It's renowned to be fast, but don't let it seduce you. Run your race. Be disciplined. May the stars align for you. Cheers!
