Re: Five Worst Songs Of All Time
Oh geez I could be here all day
1 - Your body is a wonderland - Hell let's just say any song by John Mayer - hate that whiney ass shit music
2- Maroon 5 - Again....that dude "chicks" out too much for me. I thought Adam was cool on the Voice but HATE his music and voice
3 - Lady Gaga music. Some of it is kind of catchy and not terrible to dance to but she is absolutely RIDICULOUS. But I love Kesha...go figure.
4 - Current song - The Lazy song from Bruno Mars. yuck
5 - Lil Wayne. I only like the ones with Eminem in them haha

Apologies to the OP, but a majority of history's worst music came from the 70s.
No way! Some great music came out of the 70's and the 80's. You can tell how old I am but I rarely hear anything good nowadays and anything by Britney Spears certainly goes on my worst list.

Tim M wrote:There is just too much bad music to cut the list down to 5 songs. I mean really, you have to include anything recorded by Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, covered by the cast of Glee, anything from a TV band like Big Time Rush, Jonas Bros., that punk from Canada Justin Beiber, etc...
But if I had to pick 5, it would be the five most played songs by my oldest girl right now.
1. Jessie's Girl - Glee Cast
2. Edge of Glory - Lady GaGa
3. The City is Ours - Big Time Rush
4. Girlfriend - Avril Lavigne
5. We R Who We R - Ke$ha
Okay I'm actually with you on every one of these songs. Can we add all music by Taylor Swift? ugh

And yet the Village People go by without a mention (or the entire 70s for that matter.)

Re: Five Worst Songs Of All Time
I'll throw in "We Built This City" by Starship.
They had jumped the shark years prior, but this one just added insult to injury.

Re: Five Worst Songs Of All Time
yeah, We built This City is beyond horrible.Mony Mony - Billy Idol, my god I hate that and the frat boy dipshit chant thta people do with it.Old Time Rock-nRoll - Bob Seger, I love Seger but I hate this song with all of my heartAny rap made after 1995 is horrible
I'm a total metal head but I am fully aware it is garbage music. Took my son to see Anthrax, Megadeth and Slayer a few months ago, great bonding. Kind of funny having him protect his old man when the pits got going. At 40 years and 165 pounds 10 days post marathon I wasn't feeling like I used to when I was 220+ in my 20's. Luckily my son is 6'2" 265 pounds.

Re: Five Worst Songs Of All Time
Saw Megadeth, Testament and Exodus last March. Amazing. Not Exodus too much, but Testament was good and Megadeth ( I am a major Droogie..that is what Megadeth fans are called...LOL) was spot on. I hope to see them this year...I would LOVE LOVE a Big Four date in Houston...but who knows. Saw Stryper this March and they were spot on for a club crowd of 600....

Never ever would I even venture into the pits. No way. I saw the crowd during Exodus. Nope. I am 5'4 3/4 and 155. Nope, I would die. LOL
