NYC Marathon Pre-Race Dinner

I did not see a thread started on this. Although I am not running the NYCM I figured there would be some type of get together.

When are you available to meet up? Who is in?

Count me in for 1 or 2.

I have dinner plans for the night before - the same friend that I always meet in NYC; however, I'd be game for something again on Sunday afternoon. I'm not sure who else is going this year Kenny.

I am only available the night before. But lets see who else responds.

If it is just us, then I can connect us with my friend (I met him on Hals' original board) and another runner that I found out is going from Philly - we will all be runners that met on the internet. I know there is a group going from here (Cleveland), but I'm not sure of their plans. We can all probably get together.

Michelle - sounds promising. Let the forum ride this out for a bit and then we will see. Be nice to see you and other like-minded running fools!

I'd like to see you guys in NY, but I'll be with my wife for a private dinner for two the night before. Not sure if we can meet up somewhere else.

I found out that my inlaws will be in NY also that weekend, so it looks like pre-race will not happen for me. If anyone is around after the race (Dave P), I'm not leaving until Monday morning - so I'd be game for a post-race meetup.

post-race won't work for me either - leaving shortly after the race.
