Not a great week as I had some achilles/heel pain again. Backed off a bit.

Mon - 5.4 miles with striders
Tues - 10 miles
Wed - 3.5 recovery miles
Thurs - 5 miles
Fri - Day off, Travel to Boston for Parents Weekend
Sat - 8 miles (wanted to do 12, but achilles/heel was very painful from about 3 miles)
Sun - 5.5 miles - tried new shoes and no pain.

Total for the week: 37.4 miles

We will see how it goes in NY as it approaches. Not any where I want or would really need to be.

Have you ever run a marathonwith a camera, and pulled over to take photos, and then done a scrapbook on it. Might be a good time for one given the injury. I did it once and I can tell you, you don't feel any time pressure.

Excellent idea, John - I might indeed do that as it would certainly be fun in NY.
