Devine Racing

Here is a link to a scathing column in the Salt Lake Tribune this morning, regarding the Salt Lake City Marathon and Devine Racing. SLC was my first marathon back in 2006. I've not run it since, but I've followed the Devine saga. I think Gordon Monson is spot-on here. I'd be curious if others here have run Devine events, and what your take is.

Las Vegas used to be a Devine race, but it was poorly run and had a lot of the same issues mentioned in the article. I was happy to see them go, even though the evil empire of RnR races now owns Vegas's premier marathon/Half Marathon.

Hasn't Devine sold all it's races? I thought they had declared bankruptcy actually. I'll look it up at work tomorrow.

didn't know the story, but will definitely boycott in the future. Any other races we should avoid due to him?
