Picnic Island Adventure Run

Doing the Picnic Island Adventure Run tonight. 3.6 miles of beach and trail running with obstacles and a stretch running through part of Tampa Bay. It will be my first race since the Vegas marathon in December. Just a little fun race to start the summer training and to get my feet wet again (pun intended).

Oh yea - since today is our 16th wedding anniversary, Diana and I are running it together. Isn't that what most people do on their anniversary?

93 degrees, sunny, humid, and high tide. Made for a challenging run. But it sure was a lot of fun.
