Chicago training (16 week program) starts in a week. This coming week, I am going to take it easy and hopefully rest up for a good program.
Mon - 5 miles
Tue - 8.1 miles with 6x800 meter intervals
Wed - 5 miles
Thu - 7.2 miles
Fri - 5 miles
Sat - 13.2 miles
Sun - rest
Week - 44 miles
YTD - 747 miles
Mon - 5 miles

110 mile week and that was with back to back long runs of 25 and 35 miles. Piece a cake look forward to more of the same this coming week. I have one goal on my mind JFK 50!!!

Stepback week before the last two-week peak as I get ready for the Mount Hood 50 on July 13.
Tue: 2.2 miles walking
Wed: 3.1 mile barefoot run
Thu: 6.3 mile low HR run
Fri: 8.3 mile hilly run (at low HR)
Sat: Rest
Sun: 10.2 mile low HR run with 0.2 mile speed-fest at the end
Mon: 8.3 mile low HR run
Week: 38.4 miles
Tue: 2.2 miles walking
Wed: 3.1 mile barefoot run
Thu: 6.3 mile low HR run
Fri: 8.3 mile hilly run (at low HR)

My highlight was running with KB Fitz Sunday but overall a good week with (through this morning) 7 days in a row of running for the first time since November 2012. Paces are slow slow slow but starting to be able to absorb the mileage and daily work pain free again!

T- Swim, Bike to pool 11.5 mi
F- 9.25 @ 9:50
S- Bike 11.4 mi @ 15.9mph, Core/strength
S- Rest
A bit of a step back week as far as mileage but kept the intensity up. He's really been challenging us at swimming with lots of intervals...tough but fun.
